Many people have enjoyed visiting the busy two-day Arts and Crafts festivals in the quaint town of Occoquan over the years, but like everything else this year, things are looking a little bit different. In place of Occoquan’s large Arts and Crafts festivals this year, there will be two upcoming “Pop-Up Artisan Markets”. The festivals will be June 5th and 6th and July 10th and 11th from 10am to 5pm. These pop-up markets will take place at River Mill Park overlooking the Occoquan River.
Admission to the market will be $5 for anyone 12 and older and tickets will be valid for both days. Under 12 will be admitted for free. Tickets can be purchased either online or at the event and each ticket purchase includes a chance to win in a giveaway drawing each day.
The town streets will remain open during the festival and street parking will be free. There will also be off-site parking at the VDOT lot at Route 123 and Old Bridge Road with a free shuttle circling between the lot and the park.
Food and beverages will be available for sale at a tent hosted by Patriots for Disabled Drivers. Ballywhack Shack and The Spot on Mill street will also have grab and go food packs available for sale.
